Patoli Union Women’s College (Higher Secondary Level) was established in January 2019 at Patoli Village of Patoli Union of Jagannathpur Upazila of Sunamganj District with 100% financial contribution from UK Expatriates of Greater Patlii Village and Patoli Union. On July 7, 2020, teaching activities in the college began with the admission of 67 female students in the 11th class in the academic year 2020-21 with teaching permission from the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Sylhet under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

64 students participated in the HSC examination 2022 and 58 students passed the HSC examination with two GPA-5. Based on the result of HSC Loss examination, this institution is at the first position among the three women’s colleges in Sunamganj district and second position in Jagannathpur upazila. Pass rate is 91%. At present 180 students are studying in the college for the academic year 2022-23 and for the academic year 2023-24.
The college has humanities department and business education department.

The efficient teaching staff under the leadership of Principal MD JALAL UDDIN AHAMMED is playing a responsible role to ensure ‘quality education’. The authorities are working earnestly to upgrade the college to degree level in future.

From Sunamganj district city, bus and CNG can be used to reach the college from Jagannathpur upazila and upazila town point by CNG and TomTom/auto rickshaw. From Sylhet Divisional City Central Bus Terminal, bus/CNG/Private vehicles can be used to reach the college from Jagannathpur Upazila’s Mirpur/Bhaber Bazar and Hospital front via Sylhet Biswanath Upazila.

সুনামগঞ্জ জেলার জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলার পাটলী ইউনিয়নের পাটলী গ্রামে পাটলী ইউনিয়ন উইমেন্স কলেজ (উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পর্যায়ের) ২০১৯ সালের জানুয়ারী মাসে বৃহত্তর পাটলী গ্রামের এবং পাটলী ইউনিয়নের যুক্তরাজ্য প্রবাসীদের শতভাগ আর্থিক অনুদানে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করা হয়।

২০২০ সালের ৭ জুলাই গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষা মন্ত্রনালয়ের অধীন মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বোর্ড, সিলেট থেকে পাঠদানের অনুমতি নিয়ে ২০২০-২১ শিক্ষা বর্ষে একাদশ শ্রেণিতে ৬৭ জন ছাত্রী ভর্তির মাধ্যমে কলেজে পাঠদান কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়।

২০২২ সালের এইচ এস সি পরিক্ষায় ৬৪ ছাত্রী অংশ গ্রহণ করেন এবং দুই জন জিপিএ-৫ সহ ৫৮ জন ছাত্রী এইচ এস সি পরিক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছেন। এইচ লস সি পরীক্ষার ফলাফলের ভিত্তিতে সুনামগঞ্জ জেলার তিনটি মহিলা কলেজের মধ্যে এই প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রথম অবস্থানে এবং জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলায় দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে আছে। পাশের হার ৯১%। বর্তমানে কলেজে ২০২২-২৩ শিক্ষা বর্ষে এবং ২০২৩-২৪ শিক্ষা বর্ষে ১৮০ জন ছাত্রী অধ্যয়নরত আছে।

কলেজে মানবিক বিভাগ এবং ব্যবসায় শিক্ষা বিভাগ চালু আছে। অধ্যক্ষ মোঃ জালাল উদ্দিন আহমেদ’র নেতৃত্বে দক্ষ শিক্ষক মন্ডলী ‘মানসম্মত শিক্ষা’ সুনিশ্চিত করার জন্য দায়িত্বশীল ভূমিকা পালন করছেন। ভবিষ্যতে কলেজটিকে ডিগ্রি পর্যায়ে উন্নতি করার লক্ষ্যে কর্তৃপক্ষ আন্তরিকতার সাথে কাজ করে যাচ্ছেন।

সুনামগঞ্জ জেলা শহর থেকে প্রায় ৫০ কিলোমিটার পূর্বে জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলার পাটলী ইউনিয়নের পাটলী গ্রামে কলেজটি অবস্থিত। এবং সিলেট বিভাগীয় শহর সিলেট থেকে প্রায় ৪০ কিলোমিটার পশ্চিমে অবস্থিত।

সিলেট বিভাগীয় শহর কেন্দ্রীয় বাস টার্মিনাল থেকে বাস/সিএনজি / প্রাইভেট যানবাহন যোগে সিলেট বিশ্বনাথ উপজেলা হয়ে জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলার মিরপুর /ভবের বাজার এবং হাসপাতাল সম্মুখ থেকে কলেজে গমনাগমন করা যাবে।
